Cystic Fibrosis Cycle for Life

Hi all!

I recently signed up to do this great benefit ride called "Cycle for Life" that helps fund research for Cystic Fibrosis, but I'm having a hard time raising the funds needed to participate. Has anyone else done one of these rides? I know it is such a good cause and I'm glad I can help raise awareness about CF and the need for research and a cure. Any advice for a newbie fund-raiser?
