I've exchanged email a few times with Anika -- cysticfibrosisgirl after she posted a nice comment on DS's caringbridge page. I've been keeping track of her site and she's been sick lately - pleurisy, infection. She's just found out that she probably doesn't have CF after all. Seems rather odd 'cuz she was told by a doctor she had delta f508, now apparently she doesn't.

Anyway, think she needs some support. Here's here caringbridge link in case she doesn't check in here anymore.

Checked her site this morning. Doctor says it's CF after all maybe something else, too! Must be so frustrating to finally get a reason for being so ill all the time -- told it's CF and then told it's not... I'd be so upset, so aggravated!

that is horrible that she is getting the run around. that has to be an emotional roller coaster!

Please let her know that we are thinking of her, what a hassle that the doctors are misdaignosing her. Hope she gets the help she needs to make her feel better. <img src="i/expressions/heart.gif" border="0">

You guys are soooo kind to be there for me. My mom keeps telling me get off the computer and stop talking about your CF all the thime..
What does she think anyway that I should never talk about it??? She's making me real mad!!!!

Then she tells me arn't you sick of calling doctors and going to the ER...
WELL of corse I am but what eals am I going to do sit in the house and cry in chest pain..

I asked her to come over to my computer and look at what you nice people did, and she's like cystic fibrosis agin??? I am like yah.. why.. well your always on some web page about CF... I HAVE CF WHY WOULD I NOT BE TALKING WITH PEOPLE LIKE ME ABOUT IT..... Also how is someone with CF not let CF become you.. And take over your life.. It is such a bad illness that it just does take over your like...
