Dizziness ~ Vertigo

I have been having dizziness for exactly 11 days now. I talked to my Doctor Mon. about it and talked to one of her collegues today. They seem to think it is from an inner ear imbalance. I agree it probably is, but i am wondering if anyone else has experienced this and if you found something to work. I had this once before 2 years ago , it lasted about 16 days and then subsided on its own. The Doctor i talked to today said it usually lasts about 2 weeks or so and goes away. He wanted to prescribe an anti-vertigo medicine, but i dont want to take it since he said it will make me very drowsy. I have to go to work tomorrow and i can't be drowsy while driving. My balance is fine, everything is fine till i get up and walk, then my head just feels funny. I took some Sudafed today to see if it would help with any congestin in my ears. It's helped very little, if at all. We also went thru my meds and there doesnt seem to be a cause for the dizziness. I've been on all of them before and not had this problem....uggggggggggg

About a month ago, I felt light headed. My BP dropped low. I found out I was eating too many lemon and potatos and not drinking enough water.

The remedy for me that worked was to stimulate two points above my navel (an inch above and an inch apart). These are the triple warmer points that govern the flight or fight response. Instinctively, I did this and within five minutes or less, my color came back and I no longer felt slighty dizzy.

I just rubbed the points until I felt better with light pressure. These points are great for anxiety as well.

I hope you feel better. I would keep a note book of the times of the day when you feel dizzy.

Please visit this website. I stimulate these points at least three times daily. You will feel more energy and it may possibly lessen your feeling of dizziness. That is my feeling.

By rubbing these points, you help your meridians to move in the right direction. K-27 is the 27th point on kidney meridian.

If you are driving your car, massage these points at a red light. You will feel more alert.

In another acupressure book of mine, these points help the lungs too.
Let me know if this helps you<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

This is excellent to do as well. These two links are also discussed in the book Energy Medicine.

Sometimes you can get calcium deposits in your eustacian tubes (Rock in your head). My FIL had this went to a specialist, who mainpulated his head to get his ears to drain. His ENT told him there was nothing he could do for him and referred him.

I mentioned another book that I have. It is called "Acupressure Potent points" by Richard Gach.

I found a link that talks about k-27 point from this authors perspective. The pictures are taking from his book. GREAT BOOK to have.

I just bought another book called Touch for health. I cannot wait to get that in the mail.

Ok I am off for the day. If nothing helps, I am sorry i tried to help. Maybe this will help someone else out in Cf land.
