DNAse (pulomzyme) and zithromax at same time

I use pulmozyme and zithromax on a daily basis, I just read this article http://www.pulmonaryreviews.com/dec02/pr_dec02_azithromycin.html
saying that zithromax stops the effects of DNAse. I never heard of this from my doc. Looking at the date it is already a few years old, but still ...does anyone of you know if this is correct???and that it's better to just use one of the two???

That's interesting - haven't heard of that before . . .

I also read "Take Zithromax capsules on an empty stomach 1 hour before or 2 hours after meals. Do not take antacids that contain aluminum or magnesium within 2 hours of taking Zithromax."

I'm not sure I follow those rules . . .

I use pulmozyme 2x a day, and I take two 250mg of Zithromax on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday...I haven't heard about the interactions until you mentioned it.
