Do you get TB tests yearly?

Each year from age 2 - 24 I got tested for TB (because I was told the symptoms could go unnoticed since they are so similar to the one's we experience with CF). Do you know why my doctor's might have stopped asking for this test the last 3 years? ...or is it negligence?

I recently read an article that indicated for some strange reason CFers couldn't get TB. It was an article about patients sharing rooms in the hospital and how a doctor put a cfer in with someone who had TB 'cuz they couldn't get it. Sounds weird, but I read it a few weeks ago after searching CF on google

I get tested for TB every year but that is because I am a health care worker and it is required by law that I do. I have never heard of Cfers not being able to get TB in fact I think that is very in accurate since TB is a mycobacterium which we all know many Cfers can get and have gotten,, Usally Cfers get non Tb mycobacteriums but since it is along the same lines I think it would stand to reason that you could get it...

i was never tested for TB.... i ASKED my docs to test me a few weeks ago cause i had never had the test. they were surprised i'd ask for the TB test.... not that i CAN'T get it, but in general, TB is not really widespread.
