I love animals..there always there if I don't wanna talk to anybody, plus they're so cute and lovable! my brother says he likes having pets bc they can't judge you..
But anyway...I have 6 cats and a rabbit. I had a lovebird but I had to get rid of him once I was diagnosed with cf though ...luckily my friend took him. not all of the cats are mine, but the two that are sisters sleep with me every night. i feel like they help me get through all this stuff wayy better, if that makes any sense!
in fact, before i knew it was cf, my doctor was diagnosing asthma, and there was a large possibility I'd have to get rid of the kitties! It was a terrible thought..hahahaha!
So what about you? Do you or your kids have pets that they love?

I have three cats and a bird (came with my hubby). I wouldn't give my cats up for the world!

I hear sooo many different opinions on this topic. Whether it be from CF specialist doctors, Pulmonologists, Respiratory therapists, etc, etc... When my daughter was diagnosed with CF at birth I had another "baby" (a 3yr old Austrailian Shepherd dog), but i didnt take any chances, so i contacted the Aussie Rescue and now he has a wonderful new home and i dont worry!
