Do you think that if you had one wish will it be to not have CF? Or you think its just a gift from God that theres a reason why we have it?

Give me three wishes and that would be one of them, but with only one wish it would be that my children have long and happy lives.
I personally don't believe god has anything to do with CF.

I may be splitting hairs here but I don't mind living with CF, it is dying from it young. So that would be my wish, if I have to die I would like to steal another 20 years or so.

At this point I would have to say I wouldnt use my only wish on not having CF. I would use it regarding my daughter. You know her having health & happiness etc. In a weird way I like having my CF. It gives me an outlook on life that most people dont have. It has made me the strong person that I am & I am pride of that. I truly believe that I would be quite a different person without the influence my Cf has made in my life & the difference wouldnt necessarily be a good one.

My daughter was granted her wish through the Earth Angel Foundation and she choose to go to Disney, all of her friends were jealous and wanted to go. Kait told them all that she would give back her dream vacation to not have CF. It just broke my heart, Also last year she made out her Christmas wish list and on it she wanted a cure for CF, boy did i cry a few tears!!!! I think that CF has made her a very mature 9 year old and she is so concerned for others more so than her self. I think if i could have 1 wish it would be for a cure for CF, i have always prayed that i could just take this disease from my child!!!

Our 5 yr old was wishing on a star the other night and said that she wished to be healthy. When most kids are wishing for toys and material things our kid is wishing for health, and she is doing very well health wise. I am not the one with CF but if I had a wish it would be to take away her CF so that she would have a better chance at a long, and healthy life.

I agree my only wish is for a cure for CF...I truely believe that this will happen but i have to admit i do worry that it wont come in time for my little girl.....although i worry i think a cure will definately happen one day and for all those who have it or live with it...the feeling will be out of this world!!!!!!!!!!!
