Dontcha just hate this

I started iv's 2 weeks ago on Thursday because i dont want to inhale Colistin. I find it way easier to do it iv, so my Dr. decided to add Meripenim in the mix and things wer5e going nicely. Yesterday i start with the ol' scratchy raw sore throat and stuffy nose. ugggggggggg
I know colds are viral, but you would think with iv antibiotics, the system would be in better shape to fight that all off before it even begins.<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-disgusted.gif" border="0">

Yes! I do hate it, and it seems to happen whenever I'm inpatient, hence my begging for outpatient for the next round of IVs. I catch enough colds all by myself! (I have one now... <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-frown.gif" border="0"> )

Boy do we know how you feel!

Nathan started his home tune-up last Wednesday! One week down, probably 2 more to go.

We often do 3 weeks of IV's anymore the last 3 or so years.
It started because he would get a viris near the end and they would continue an additional week just to be sure it didn't turn into anything, I think 3 weeks is just habit now.

I'm sorry you're both feeling so yucky. "Lousy" is a good word when you have a cold. Hope you're feeling better soon and, Diane, I hope your IV meds to the trick!
