my daughter is 13 and has cf since she was 1 when she was 11 she
developed non- related diabetes does anyone have the SAME
diagnosis? it is rare we only have 2 people in ireland with them

I've heard of it -- I'm not sure what the difference is but it is a different "type" number. My daughter's friend has both CF and non-related Diabetes. It does happen. I know she commented that she actually felt the diabetes impacted her life more than the CF does.

Sorry -- I know I didn't really answer anything for you, but did want to say I've heard of it happening.
