Craig has rather dry skin on his legs and esp' the soles of his feet, his doc' today gave us a script for a cream for it. I was wondering if this is normal with CF, we have always moisturized his skin, but not much difference does it make.

I think its more common then what the medical community discusses. Especially the feet since they sweat so bad and then the salt sits there drying them out. IN addition to the lotion give to you I would rinse his feet. You dont necessarily have to wash them all the time since soap dries also, but get the salt off other wise you are just exfoliating as you rub the lotion on with the salt in it. Hope it helps!

Yes, I posted the question too last month because after a bath my boy's hands and feet look like prunes. At our old CF center, they seemed perplexed, but we're switching to a new center, so I'll ask again-- it's on the list of several unanswered questions (which is part of why we're switching centers, right?)
