Is it possible for the E-flow to increase side effects of meds. With smaller particle sizes the meds are supposed be more effective. If thats true, is it also safe to say that meds like Tobi might cause more side effects than if it was used through an LC neb cup. Just curious,

This is why they adjust the dose of some meds. You will get more med into your lungs (higher respirable dose) and a higher dose could equal higher side effects.

So the amount of medication that is needed to create the same respirable dose in the eFlow vs. old nebs/compressors is smaller.

You can read more about doses used in in vitro and in vivo clinical studies by going to my blog, scrolling down to categories, and clicking on eFlow.
