Eczema

Hello all! I'm a 21 yr old CF patient, and I have terrible eczema. I use a prescription cream, but nothing really seems to help. Does anyone else have this kind of problem? Thanks! Mary

YES!! I have terrible eczema as well! Now allergie medication is supposed to alleviate some of the symptoms (such as Claritan D) however that alone did not do the job for me. I actually use Aveeno lotion daily, but when I have flare ups I use elocon cream and/or Desowen lotion. Believe me, I know what you are going through, I used to have terrible scabs up and down my arms and legs from scratching so much!! Mary- My granddaughter had bad eczema. I read somewhere that protein deficiency could cause skin problems. She was put on a protein shake and the eczema went away. Maybe a coincidence? But probably wouldn't hurt to try.
