Eflow and tobi inhaler

So I just talked to my nurse about the two of these. She said they are not indorsing the eflow yet. They say that they won't until the meds that would go into it are tested. I guess that the eflow tobi is an old version and they don't like the idea of using a smaller amount of the current Tobi. I told her about some of the studies that have been done and she said that she talked to the maker of the eflow and the people doing the study and they can't reccommend it yet so my clinic isn't. Kind of a let down for me but I guess I understand if they can't be 100% sure.

Better news is that my clinic is one participating in the tobi inhaler study. She said that the people what are on it love it and that it looks like it will be to the market in early '08. So that's good news!

I know people have other ideas about the eflow but I just wanted to share what my nurse/doctor said

Thanks for sharing Sue.. I kind of made the same post yesterday after I went to clinic.. My team is not comfortabe with the e-flow yet..

The Tobi inhaler is so exciting to me.....I can't wait for it to come out.. I am not in the study.. but I know the people who are using it at my clinic like it.. Now we just have to see if they get the same results with the inhaler form as opposed to the nebulized form...

Like I said this will thrill me.......................................
