Some antibiotics can cause this. Are you on anything right now? It can be a side effect. Otherwise, excessive thirst can be a sign of other levels being off too. I would say if it continues then get more things checked out. Also, it's getting hot out...maybe you just need to balance your hydration due to weather. I don't know.
yeast...yeast is your most likely culprit. It attracts water molecules....I had no idea about that...my ID guy told me.
After antibiotics before I come down with thrush, I Always get dry mouth. As I get older, I even get thrush just from straying from my no sugar diet....I am diabetic, but do not need insulin at all if I follow my anti-inflammatory diet.
Try some Nistatin or get a probiotic and see if that helps.....
