Extreme chest pain

I am 25 years old, and I'm currently in the hospital now I am having extreme chest pain on my let side. I did have a golf ball size cist there it is 2 cm now.My doctors don't know exactly what is causing the pain, and they have been treating my pain with pain meds, which does'nt really take care of my pain. I was wondering if any of you have ran in to the same situations, and found something that works. or your doctor had a reason for the pain. Sorry for my bad grammer, but any info or personal experiances that have helped would be great, or if your doctors have come up for a reason for this pain.I am not having the kind of pain you get when your full of mucus or plugs.
