Feeding tube question- Part 2???

A few weeks ago I posted about some pain and discomfort I was with my feeding tube. It ended up being an infection in my stomach where the tube went in. That's all better now.
The problem I'm having now is that I cough a lot at night while doing the tube feeding. It feels like the formula is irritating my esophagus and causing me to cough constantly. I had a reflux test in the past and it was negative, but that could be the problem. I sleep at an angle with a wedge and two pillows, but tend to slip down at night. I don't like sleeping at an angle.
The only thing that seems to help is lowering the rate to about 30 ml/hr. That is only getting me about 350 extra calories. I use Peptamin 1.5. I was using Nutren 2.0, but that caused bowel blockage.
I've read many positive post about the use of feeding tubes, but I'm having a difficult time getting the hang of it.
I would appreciate any suggestions or ideas that helped make the feeds more tolerable?
Thanks
