Hello all, I can find no time to be given my flu shot because my infection can't go away because of heavy pseudomonas. I understand it is not wise to take while being sick is this true? Rami 21 w/CF
You shouldn't get a flu shot if you are sick. A flu shot is a dead form of two or three strands of the viruses that they think are most likley to strike. Ask your doc when it would be ok. I have some chronic infections but still get a flu shot in October and a booster in February.Debbie22 yr old w/ Cf
