Food Allergies

I'm having a really hard time with food allergies. I'm not getting a balanced diet these days and I am concerned that between this and other issues going on I may be becoming malnourished (despite a little too healthy weight). Anyone else out there with (a lot of) food allergies? How do you stay well nourished? I am trying to make an appointment with clinic's nutritionist for sometime soon.

I recently gave up wheat because of an allergy (not gluten intolerance) in addition to several other foods I've given up over the last 5 years. I can eat most vegetables, some meats. I should avoid all milks but rice milk

if you go to an allergist, they can devise a plan for you in terms of your food allergies. oftentimes if you stop eating the food for 3-6 months, then gradually re-introduce the food the allergy can be minimized (this is an overly simplified explanation.... allergist will give you more details)

Thanks for your suggestions. I actually have had anaphylactic reactions to several foods so those are out: (tree and legume) nuts and soy. I get fairly significant hives (1/2 to 3/4 of my body is covered) from eggs, wheat, pork. I don't get any obvious reactions but feel horrible and test positive to a handful of other foods including corn-based products and dairy. I continue to eat corn and dairy products and foods with a small amount of egg because the reaction is not bad enough. I am under the regular care of an allergist and his suggestion is to avoid the most offensive of the foods. He also consults with my team. They actually share a clinic. We've tried varying foods, going back to foods after a long hiatus, introducing just small amounts after a long time of not eating them. I've seen several allergists in the course of my lifetime. I think I am just at the point of frustration with the addition of wheat to the do not eat list.
