I don't think this will work, posting the birthdays here, as the topics tend to be slow moving with only maybe 3 or 4 threads on the go. Sooner or later the page will be overrun with birthday posts.

granted that there are not that many posts here, but we do have a core group who come here on a regular basis, ironic that the first ''off-topic birthday post'' is Brad, as he is one of the main off-topic posters we have.

Everybody in the community, wether they choose to post or not, is as important as each other, I just feel that a 'topic specific' may be the best way to go here, remember the debate we had over the most recent addition, could we repeat that for this?

For example it's XYZ's birthday, it shows up on the left like the "lastest blog posts" but in it's own birthdays topic. When you click on a birthday it takes you onto a birthday forum where you can reply there. That way it's not in some forum that nobody visits and out of the way plus you can see it everyday but it's not in the way of message posting. Surprised nobody's said this before.
