Hi, my name is Beth and I have 2 cousins and a sister with CF and I would like to do something to raise money for CF. I was thinking maybe a supper or something. I was wondering if anyone had any pointers on how to get started?
I would also like to know of any other way to help. I don't have a lot of extra money but I'm more than willing to put time into it and I know some people who would be willing to sponsor and help out. Almost everyone in my family; aunts, uncles, cousins, who have shown any symptoms have been tested for CF since there is alot of CF in our family history.
a good place to start would be to visit the www.cff.org webiste and find a CF chapter in your area. The can offer information on fundraising events they have done, they are also always looking for fundraising event volunteers.
