Fundraiser Idea

I was just collecting up my trash to take out, and I have a ton of empty cans. I suddenly remembered collecting them in high school for a fundraiser of some sort, and was wondering if I could do the same thing for CF.

Have any of you guys done this as a fundraiser for CF (or anything)? If so, how would you recommend going about it? I can definitely get a lot of tabs off of friends and family, but I'm sure I could get even more from other places (restaurants? offices?) if I tried. What do you guys think - is it worth it? Or is the money obtained by recycling these too trivial to bother nowadays?

I'm sure you could do the same thing. I did look it up and each tab is only worth .04 cents (32 cents a pound)

I would go to a school and see if they would be interested. The school I work at does it and you would be shocked how many we get. Many many pounds, sometimes per student. They make it into a competition per grade so they have more incentive to do it.

This would be a fabulous idea if it works. Heck...my hubby could contribute thousands.

OK he has cut down & **gasp** has started drinking ice water, but still!
