This is an actual quote of something I said to Samantha (age 2) today at breakfast. She was standing up in her booster chair and exposing her g-tube button which she had opened.

"Sami, close up that button and sit down and eat!"

I looked at my husband and said, "Now how many parents say that to their child?"

Just thought it was amusing,

Today my husband & I were talking about how our daughter will be coming to that 'hanging out at the skating rink' age pretty soon & my husband jokingly said to her, "No holding hands with boys" and I said yeah, by the time she gets to that age, I'll be chasing the boys down w/ my wheelchair w/the O2 tank attached to the side of it protecting our daughter!
Hopefully that really won't be the case, but a little humor never hurts<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

Yesterday my 6 year old came in my room and asked me "Mom, is it possible for a 6 year old kid to have a baby?" I did a double take and looked at her and said, "No, why?" She said, "Oh, nevermind...it's just that my stomach hurts really really bad." I nearly fell out of my chair.
