getting a g,tube

hi my name is stephen im 14 w/cf, i was wanderin how you feel after getting a g,tube. im getting one tomorrow.
and how big is the scare? i have one from when i got a g,tube when i was a baby. then got it takin out when i was 7.
but i don't remember it.

I got one back in March, my family and I were scared of me not eating, me being put under for the first time, just all kinds of thoughts were running through our head. I had a feeding tube in my nose when I was a baby and I totally stopped eating from a bottle. We against the Dr.'s didn't get one and fought it for years. In March we got it and what a good thing it was. I will be 13 this Dec. and I weighed 35 pounds and I am now 53.3 pounds. My mom got to be in the room when they gave me meds to put me to sleep and they told me to count to 10 and I made it to 2 and I was out. I did really well and it was over in no time at all. Afterwards I had pain and I was very sleepy, I didn't want to cough because it hurt, but it is important to cough. I wish you the best of luck and I hope things go well!
