Glutathione infusions

Anyone heard of cf patients getting or being treated with glutathione infusions. I talked to a compound pharmacist/nutritionist in my town yesterday and he asked me if I had tried them. He said infusions or inhalation would be more effective as more of the glutathione would be absorbed. He said he could give me iv infusions or the inhaled glutathione if my doctor ok'd it.

Ha, never in a million years would my doctor okay anything not FDA approved.

Here are some good articles about why such treatment could make sense. I think a lot of it sounds good, but its a little premature to start injecting yourself... some more work needs to be done.
