Haemophilus parainfluenzae? Anyone else culture this?

Just wondering if others also culture this? Hayley's culture just came back and this is all she cultured (Thank GOD!) THe nurse said it is very common in CFers and nothing to worry about. Said they don't even treat it, so I am just curious how common it really is and if anyone else's doctor has treated this bacteria. Any information would be appreciated! Thanks!

That is all Cale has culured so far too. Thankfully. They don't treat him with antibiotics until he starts to show symptoms such as coughing. He usually gets a runny nose about 2 months after he cultures it. They tell me that isn't part of it, but soon after his runny nose comes, he starts to cough. They reluctantly give him an antibiotic and it clears it up. They also tell me that it is commonly found in the back of the airways.
