Have not been around for a while

Sorry that I have not been around for a while, I have been busy with other things such as appointments for me and Brady, having a cold that lasted from before Christmas until about 2 weeks after the new year, and then I just celebrated my 2 year post double lung and liver transplant anniversary!!

Saturday was two years ago that I came out of the OR with new lungs and liver and began the beginning of a healthy life. I still feel great and went out this weekend with friends and family to celebrate it. We had a great time! I can't wait to celebrate many more years and look forward to others who are waiting for their transplants to feel the same way. It's an amazing gift and I think of my donor and their family every day.

Yes...I read about Hermit and Garran and am rooting for them to do well also! This has been a very exciting week as a lady I met at the Cleveland Clinic finally got her heart transplant after waiting for close to 3 years!!
