Have you read the book SixtyFive Roses?

I bought it today. I am a bit scared to read it though. Honestly, I went to the bookstore and it was the only CF related book they had, so I bought it. I am going to order some others off of Amazon.

I am wondering if anyone read it and what you thought of it. Is it hard to read (emotional)?

I found that the absolute worst source of data about CF has been from books. Other than the ones you get from clinic - it's woefully out of date.

This site and other "real people" are going to be one of the best sources of information for you - good and bad.

Is that the Mallory one? I am not a fan of that one either for my three year old. I have stopped reading it.

I read Little Brave Ones to Aidan and Kyle's First Crush. They are pretty good about young kids dealing with CF. I usually skip the word disease though. Dr Warwick claims that it is not in itself a disease. It is a combo of two mutations that can lead to many diseases. So I choose to go with that. It just makes easier for me to look it at that way.
