In some ways, today's medicine is more advanced than ever before. Technologically speaking, I suppose thats true. In some ways, however, we've gone so far back in time we might as well be paddling through the primordial ooze. Some of today's medicine treats symptoms, and some treats the problems directly. The main thing we've left out is treating the body and mind. Pills and shots can take away the pain, even take away the problem, but they cant give us the strength we need to heal. We rely on time for that, when there are things that can be done to help the psyche. What makes the body work? the mind. For those of you that read many books... Im sure ive screwed up the explanation pretty badly.Find and read the book by Aldous Huxley, called Island. Once you're less than half way through, you'll understand what I'm talking about. It is a very philosophical fiction book, with many very NON-fiction concepts and ideas. Read it. Im not trying to promote the book, I'm trying to promote the content of the book. If you dont want to buy it at a bookstore, go to a library.Inspired,Jason wCF
