How do you earn a living and take care of a CF child?

Hi - I quit my job last September as an Executive Assistant because my daughter, Claire, was sick so often I felt I should stay home and take care of her. Now, we are in the hospital about every other month and her PFT sits at about 64%..not so good. We are in a serious financial bind and I need to find some way of bringing in money as soon as possible but cannot go out and find a job in my profession as I have to miss so much work for her. Do any of you have any good "work from home" or self-owned business ideas to share? We already receive SSI/Disability but it really doesn't cover our actual costs - thanks for any feedback!

My wife is a teacher and I am a pharmaceutical rep. both are great jobs for us to be able to have flexible schedules. She is with her all summer and holidays etc. and I can work around the other days if need be to stay at home or doctor vists etc.

Chuck father to Avery 3 years old and in 2 days she will be 4, with CF DDF508 and Rhett 2 carrier
