How do you wash the acapella?

Does anyone know the proper way to wash the acapella?

I dont have the papers that came with mine anymore and i couldnt find the info on the website. Do you boil/stem it like the nebs? I didnt want to try and have it melt on me.

If anyone knows that would be great

It's dishwasher safe. When I had one, I used to put it in the dishwasher. Just take it apart (there are a few pieces), and put it in the washer. *shrug* <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

I have the Acapella choice, and I simply wash mine with hot soapy water, and then boil it.

I wash mine in hot soapy water, rinse it in hot water, then let it air dry on a paper towel. I did not realize that they are dishwasher safe. Of course, I figured the mouth piece was dishwasher safe & if I remember correctly, one time I did boil the mouthpiece and it melted?? I don't remember the insert ever saying it was dishwasher safe.
Possibly I have a different, older style than you do. Mine's green.
