I also posted this on the CF 2 chat site, sorry for those of you who read both, but I thought there may be a few on this site that don't visit that one that have information.I am interested in starting the GSH regimen. I read through that one forum on CF and GSH useage but couldn't post there as it required that I register to use it and I didn't feel like doing that.Anyway, here is my gigantic list of questions:I prefer the idea of taking it in pill form as opposed to inhaling it. Does this work? How much do I take and how? Is it better to follow the dosage on the bottle or Dr. Bishop's recommendation (his recommendation is 30mg/pound taken in 4 doses, 3-4 hours apart)? (To note - my weight varies between 105 and 115 pounds). I read the papers on Dr. Bishop's site - it mentioned the use of N-Acetyl-L-Cysteine to begin the regimen, but ceasing use after awhile as it can be toxic to the liver. How long do you take this for and at what dose?I'm also planning on adding Curcurim to my regimen. I read that the recommended dose is 43mg per kg in body weight - is this accurate?Sorry for all of these questions - I've just never strayed from the typical methods of dealing with CF. My doc okayed me to try these things out but said there was no set dosing so I'd have to tweak the regimen myself. Also, I've read on various board that some brands are better than others. What are your preferences for each of these supplements? Anything I should be careful of? Any bad side effects or possible future problems from taking these supplements? Also, I was planning on adding Usana vitamins to my regimen as I have family members (non CF) that take them and love them. Anyone else have experience with them?Thank you for your help! Piperpmcp@comcast.net
