Sam had another appt. yesterday we have to go for lab work every
Friday. and audiology every other Friday It is only 35 miles from
here to the hospital It could be worse. He has Mac. and the
Amikacin is almost as bad as the Mac. He has only been on it for a
month and he has some hearing loss at high frequencies. He is on Iv
meds. starts @ 8 am and finishes around 12:30 am and is on CPT 4 x
a day also. I usually cannot get him to sit still but he has
been very good He never complains I guess it's not like he has a
choice. He was so sleepy this morning when I woke him up for CPT
and he just rolled out of bed and did it He did go back to sleep
after for 4 more hours. I am so glad I found this forum. I can see
that "this too shall pass" and he will be running wild
and complaining all over again. On a lighter note He has a pair of
Beagle pupppies. I will try to post some Pics. They have been
sleeping in the house in a Pet Carrier. They are rotten. He wanted
them to hunt with, but I am afraid all they will hunt is Sam. They
love him already. When he is on his bike they are right behind him.
They love to run and have very good noses he can hide from them and
when I turn them out they will find him. It's very funny to hide
food for them to find. They have been a great distraction for him
since he has been stuck in the house so much. His father is not at
all happy about dogs in the house, but they are out more than in so
they don't make much of a mess. NOT MUCH they tore up an entire
phonebook yesterday luckily we have hardwood floors.
