You know how we (CF's) die younger than normal people? It's not due to our disease guys, it's because CF years age wise compared to normal people years age wise, is exactly like how dog years age wise is compared to normal human years age wise. Guy's we don't have a disease, they just made a mistake with us in processing before we arrived, and gave us the dog years

/starts barking for no reason

/starts to lick self and not get embaras*sed

/sleeps a lot

/pees on rug

(those aren't silly attempts at emotes to emulate dogs, I do those things also, it's just to illustrate my dog years point!)

So since i'm almost 35...(doing the math). It appears i'm 5 years old in dog years. I'm a fairly decent size dog though, and ya know big dogs don't live as long as small dogs. So maybe i'll see 10?

/get's hip dysplasia

Actually, Sean...sorry to burst your bubble here, but your dog year age would be 245 years old. Not 5.

No. It's relative to cross species longevity. Dogs are 5 years old to us, but are roughly around 35 years of biological aging to them (it's not exactly a 7:1 dog to human year ratio, but it's mostly closer to 7 on average over their lifespan). Seez whadda meen? So i'd be 5 years old to normal non CF people, but actually be around 35 years old in CF years. Heh but yeah i'm tired, at the normal year of 35 years of age, i'd be 245 years old. /shakes head

Time to get that hip transplant!
