I had a feeling this would happen.

ARG! So I couldn't get a perscription called in on a Sunday to take care of my sinuses. I called my doc on MOnday, got a scrip called in, started in Monday night. But it was too long and it moved down. This always happens if I can't start antibiotics RIGHT AWAY for a sinus infection. I had hard time even convincing the doc on the phone that I knew what I had (to her credit I am a new patient and she is my GP not my CF doc but trying to get them on the phone unless you're dying is nearly impossible). So consiquently almost 2 weeks later I am STILL sick. I finished my antibiotics of course, it never got bad enough that I had to go the ER, but I did miss a few days of work. Its getting better. The mucus is thinner every day and easier to get up. I increased my HS to 3 times a day and am actually doing chest PT a couple times a day (usually I just use my Flutter). The real fun part is getting my butt up the stairs to our 3rd floor apartment! I only go up once a day, then my a$$ stays there! I tell ya the next place we live will not involve stairs! It usually doesn't bother me but with this its ridiculous!

I know how you feel! I take the bus to work cuz we only have 1 car and its normally a 10 minute walk if I'm not rushing. Now its 20 minutes and by the time I get there I have to cough up a lung and I feel like I just ran a marathon. The biggest sucky thing about feeling like this is that I know that someday I'll probably feel like this all the time as my lungs fail! Of course that's a little on the morbid side and I think that time will be a long way off, but it makes you think.

I hope ya'll are feeling better soon..... I also know what living on a third floor apartment is like and it can be REALLY tough if you're not feeling well! I sometimes had to stop at the second floor to catch my breath, and if you're carrying anything forgetaboutit! Anyway, feel better!
