Editing to say: i didn't make that up, I copied it from some web thingy and underlined my vote!
Okay, not to beat a dead horse or anything but after chatting with you a little I can't help but be thinking about your problem here. So turning to my friend Google, I say "so Google lets see what we can find on CFRD etc." and wow I didn't even know the # of CFers with CFRD was so high, you are at about the right age and going a while without diagnosis might lend itslef to your current problem I think. I think Liz went like a year before they pinned down CFRD for her, you might check with her what her symptoms were, but your symptoms sound suspect to me my friend. Maybe you could print some info on CFRD and take it to your General Doc. I just think since he's not a CF specialist it might be something he would overlook.
Anyway good luck to you, I'll keep my fingers crossed they get to the bottom of this for you, cuz this is not right and it's probably just a symptom of something else, you don't want it to go unchecked especially if it's something that could be managed so easily.
That was a long sentence there at the end and where does the phrase beat a dead horse come from?
