I saw the best CF fundraiser on TV today!!

Hey guys,

At 7:30 this morning I was watching my local news (New York City) and saw this doctor and a bunch of others preparing for a CF fundraiser to be held tommorrow at a beach somewhere in NY. The doc was being filmed and said that if the TV crew promises to come back tommorrow and film the fundraiser he'd jump into the freezing ocean right now on camera. They promised , so he did it!! It was hysterical.
Anyway, the actual raiser is tommorrow (the 11th) and on FOX 5 news, probably early. They're having dozens of people jump into the Atlantic ocean to raise money for CF.
I was actually grateful watching it, b/c it made me laugh, and I'm not sure anyone could pay me to jump in the ocean when it's 25 degrees out, let alone do it for charity.

Sounds like an unofficial polar bear club. Never understood why the Polar Bears (the people not the animals) would WANT to do that let alone be ABLE to do it!

Yeah, it kinda was like that.

But some of them were doctors, and nurses, obviously cool people!
They stripped down to their trunks and jumped.
