Its soo stupid I just have to laugh.
I had my gtube placed last monday. Well I am trying to get out of the hospital b/c lung wise I am cleared (3 weeks of abx). My insurance is being difficult about approving a pump and gtube supplies. They said they only want to approve it if I can't eat by mouth- seriously? Its like then WHY did you approve the surgery.
I am grateful to have Tricare(military/gov health care) insurance really I am. I save thousands a month in medication costs -and everything is covered.
But to have some guy sitting in an office tell me what THEY think I need vs my doctors is annoying. Its more annoying b/c I can't go home until I have a pump and everything set up!
And to think that the president wants the WHOLE US to have gov run health care -BLEH!
