Is any of your kids on this med

My son has been on MethlPREDNISolone tablets for a couple of months know and he is getting very hairy on his back i mention it to his doctor but they seem to not really pay any attention to it. has any of you have a child that young taking this med and have any side affects from it?
Do people with CF have to take this med for ever?
