I thought they found this out a long time ago- I remember being disappointed that I had "the most common gene" because they had found that gentimicin did help people with an atypical (at the time-this was around 15 years ago, probably) gene. But maybe I heard about it so early because Children's Hospital Birmingham and UAB is where I went/go, and have seen Dr. Clancy at both hospitals...

Still, good to see they are still working on it! <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">
