Kindney Tests. (Confused) Please help with Questions

My doctor said that I had been leaking protien in my urine (I guess from my cfrd).
What does this tell you about your kindney in relation to your creatin level?
I have never heard of creatin levels.
I do know that my other doc is going to see if I am leaking creatin but hes doing this with a calcium test to see if i have osteoporoisis and it has nothing to do with a kindney check....

If Im leaking creatin from urine what does that mean?

And what do the creatin levels tell you about your kidneys anyhow?
Ive been really scared about my kindeys and liver and I just want to make sure that my doctors are doing ALL the tests they need to do.
Can someone explain this stuff to me?

I am having also problem with my kidneys.See the e-mail "kidneys problem" bellow.
I am running tests now. It 's somehow connected with the meds we use to take for CF? It's new for me also. I have to deal with this problem from January.
The docs said to me that it's posible to begin mechanical support in my kidneys function.
I am not sure if they know what are they dealing with and if they have treat any other CFer with kidneys failure.So that makes me to fell very insecure and scared and that's why i am e-mailing almost every day in this forum.
