Laryngitis?

Last week DS developed a head cold, with a mild fever, developed a cough -- increased his beatings to keep things moving and had an appointment a day or so later at the CF clinic. Doctor put him on a course of cipro and by the next day his cough was pretty much gone. Still has a stuffy nose, but otherwise seems fine until yesterday I noticed he's got a froggy sounding voice.

Right now the trees are starting to bloom, the lovely aroma from the City sewage lagoons is wafting thru town and giving me a sinus headache. Can't help but think it's allergies. Other than pushing liquids and giving him some popscicles, any suggestions at to what I can do to make him feel better. Think a large part of it is he needs to rest his voice, but he's such a chatterbox. Doesn't seem to bother him, just hurts listening to him.
