Lortab 10

Well, now for over the weekend I've been given a script for Lortab (Hydrocodone) for the TMJ pain. It seems to really help... mostly cause I'm feeling really really tired and dizzy, so not at all focused on my jaw! (and, I only took 1/4 of a pill!!!)

So, has anyone taken this for pain? Is it ok for CF patients? Amy, any suggestions/info? I mentioned I shouldn't be on anything high in ibuprofren cause of the possible damage to kidneys and interactions with other CF antibiotics... was this the right thing to say? The dentist basically went with whatever I said I could be on, and I though the high dose of codeine and acetomenophin was safer. Was this correct? I hope I'm not putting my lungs at risk, but boy does it take care of the pain!!!

Well i recently have had alot of pain in my side that no one can figure out where it is comming from (go figure). SO my CF doc put me on 800mg ibuprofren then when that didnt work I went to the ER and they gave me Lortab 7.5mg. I told my CF doc about it and she ddint have a problem with me taking it if I needed it. I never did take any thou.

Thanks. I had thought high doses of ibuprfren weren't all that great for CFers? Maybe I'm wrong. Thanks for the info. I'm glad your CF doc didn't have a problem with Lortab. Makes me feel better. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">
