Lost my ability to whistle

I went to whistle at my hubby tonight and there was nothing. I haven't tried to whistle in forever and now it is gone. I tried to whistle several times and no noise came out. I am well hydrated....so that can't be the reason.

Is it a lung issues, vocal cord issue?? I am seeing a speech pathologist in November for a vocal cord dysfunction, maybe I should ask about this, too.

Thats really odd, I had to try myself just to be sure I could lol. I've never heard of such a thing, but I thought the thread could use a bump so maybe someone who does know something can give us some insight. I'd sure be interested to know what could cause that. The vocal chords aren't used to whistle, and I would think that even with low lung function you could still whistle a little bit, just not very loud.
