My daughter is growing weary of looking swollen each and every month before her period. Has anyone had any luck with the over-the-counter meds like Midol or Tylenol PMS? Have you asked your doctors if this type of diuretic is acceptable? Will let you know what her doc says.

If she's really uncomfortable I would let her take it. As long as you follow the directions she'll be fine, also have her cut down some on her salt intake ( I Know this is backward from what we're supposed to do) salt makes you retain even more water so cutting back a little for a few days won't hurt.
