Hey again!
For those who don't use autogenic drainage, I highly recommend trying it. It sometimes works better than the vest for me. Here's how I learned it...
-take a small breath in, then force it out as much as you can (do this about five times)
-then take a larger breath (not deep), and force it out as much as you can (again, about 5 times or so)
*by this time, I'm usually coughing up a storm, but it's very productive
-finally, if you can with out coughing (which I myself have difficulties with), take a deep breath, and force your air out (5 times again)
This usually works best for me after doing a treatment, or even before or after using the vest. I'm always looking for new ways for airway clearance and glad to share what works for me...I hope this helps. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">
Take care, all!
