MRSA

Over the last two weeks I had a severe MRSA skin infection on my face. My whole face on the left side was all swelled up. Even under my eye. I started to not be able to see well. They tested to see what kind of meds would work for this so
they put me on Levquin and Bectrum. So my swelling has gone down allot but, there is still a large sore there. My mom this week ended up with a skin infection like MRSA but it not. On her nose. Then on Thursday night of last week I became numb all over my body and weak. I could not feel anything from my head down. So my mom called 911. I got to the hospital and the doctor there did not do much. Just took a CBC and it was normal. so he sent me home. It was so bad that I could not walk. so when they sent me home the nurse took me out to the car in a wheelchair. I got home and this numbness went on for 3 days. so I stayed in bed.

Now the numbness is gone but, I am weak. in my hands and legs. I have not clue what happened to me. the doctors have not clue. they told me I need to see a doctor who works with people with brain tumors. I am like what????!
I had an MRI last summer and it was normal. But that could change I guss?!
However my B-12 level was very high. 1000.27 normal is 100-900

Now today I have been so sleepy.

So I was just wondering if any of you have MRSA storys.

I got in all over my body in the form of sores (mostly my face and legs). I was on bactrum and something else (can't remember). I get small flare ups even to this day... when my immune system suffers (doesn't last long). I have wonderful scars all over my body from those painful sores. They had to refer me to a skin doctor to try limit the scaring-- so much for that.

Luckily my doctor's took it pretty serious and attacked it pretty hard. It wore me out... I missed a lot of days of school (high school).
