N.Y. area people......

N.Y. area people.... does anyone know the best hospital/doctors...in the n.y. including the city)area..i live on long island and wonder if anyone knows where or who the best is supposed to be....i go to stoney brook now, tried l.i.j.(wasn't crazy about it ) i like stoney brook and my docs. but would like to get some other imput... thanks, Joni 55 y/o f w c/f

I havent really heard of any bad places per say. I started at Columbia Presbyterian at the time of my dx, but then the docs I was with moved to St. Vincents in Manhatten and been with them since. 30 years under my belt with this group. A few of us on here go there & they are known for their CPT program. I am happy with the overall care & relationships and the doctors are open to alternative meds as long as its researched & you are monitored.
