NAC

Can you take NAC when you are on IV's? I just remembered reading somewhere that taking it can decrease effectiveness of antibiotics and the time you take it should be spaced apart from the antibiotics. How do you all take it when you are getting a tune-up?

I usually don't take it while on abx simply because i don't my immune system isn't going crazy while i'm on IV's because the infection is being smacked down by the abx.

As you know, glutatione hitches to white blood cells in your bone marrow and rushes to the site of infection to decrease inflammation and further recruitment of these inflammatory responses.

But when we're on the RIGHT IV cocktail, the infection is being decreased as noted by a decrease in our white blood cell count, and I feel NAC isn't necessary for me then.

I could be wrong on my thinking on this..... but this is how I've thought about it thus far <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">
