Neb stuff from CFF

When I read Alyssa's blog, I was interested in finding a copy of the guidelines from the CFF for cleaning neb stuff. When I looked I couldn't find it on their site. Does anyone know where I can get a copy?

There was some new stuff there on neb cups (5/31)

<a target=_blank class=ftalternatingbarlinklarge href="http://www.cff.org/UploadedFiles/living_with_cf/Files/Respiratory%20-%20Which%20Nebulizer%20for%20Which%20Drug.pdf
">http://www.cff.org/UploadedFil...or%20Which%20Drug.pdf
</a>

and another new one on ABPA (6/1) I know we had talked about those on previous threads.

</a>

This one was interesting because Jesse takes sporinox for ABPA. No one ever told us NOT to give it with prevacid.
Thanks

Hi Jane,

Gee, I don't know -- that would be a great thing for them to put on their site -- I haven't looked for it, what I got from my clinic was (I'm pretty sure) typed up by the clinic, so they may have just took it upon themselves to do it.

Thanks for the links -- I am going to add the first one to my blog as I think it fits in quite nicely with the rest of the info there and could be of benefit to others.

I went on the cff web site earlier this morning, typed in "disinfecting" in the search area and found exactly the same information as in the blog. Not that I didn't trust the blog, just that I had recently been on the cff site and didn't see it promnently displayed anywhere. I was curious why it wouldn't be a highlighted topic on the cff site, expecially since they have changed their opinion on vinegar. I think it would be good for the cff site to post that kind of info more obviously whenever you visit the main site, since germ control is so critical to cfers.

Sure am grateful for Alyssa bringing it to our attention.

Debi -- Thanks for finding the info on the CFF website. Can you post the link that you found and I'll add it to my blog so others can use it too.

Debi,

I think I found what you are talking about -- it is that hand out called "Stopping the spread of germs"

We got that at the clinic one day -- didn't know they had it on the website -- there wasn't an address listed when I display it in the PDF format so I'll have to wait for my son to help me figure out how to get the link posted.

Ok -- got it -- here it is -- the link to the CFF website that shows the guidelines -- it is within the pamphlet titled "Respiratory Stopping The Spread Of Germs"

Thanks you guys. After looking I realized I had seen it before. It really should be highlighted better.
