For those of you who use TOBI, what side effects do you experience?

edit- It seems to leave me short of breath as well.

The first few years I was on it I would lose my voice about one week into my treatment. My voice would then be completely out for a week. I also experienced the "TOBI cough" which is that nagging, top of your throat non productive cough all day long.

Now that I'm older and my disease has progressed, or maybe I just developed new side effects, I cannot tolerate TOBI anymore. It makes me feel tight and my FEV1 actually drops significantly while on it, I have severe shortness of breath. I choose not to use TOBI anymore.

i get really really bad headaches when i'm on inhaled tobi. the type of headache that asprin pretty much doesn't help. so i no longer do tobi, it took me forever to convince my doctor that i really had bad headaches while on it. i can tolerate the iv tobra though.

i cough quite a bit on my 1st 2 weeks of TOBI (of the 4 week cycle) because lots of stuff is losening (as inflammation decreases due to the antibiotic) and i'm able to get up my gunk.

i get the dry throat cough too - and that gives me a headache.

not to fun, but oh so good for my lungs!
